Represetative examples include:

  • Negotiation of Owner-General Contractor and General Contractor-Subcontractor contracts.
  • Eight week court trial involving general contractor claims for contract sums and extras and defense of owner defective work claims on the Waterfront Hilton Hotel.
  • Eight week Office of Administrative Hearings trial for general contractor against the California Department of Corrections involving defective cell locking mechanisms at the Pelican Bay Prison; obtained full indemnity for general contractor against detention subcontractor's bonding company.
  • Successful settlements of massive multi-party litigation involving various schools and universities including U.C. Merced, Cal State Stanislaus, and the Jefferson School District.
  • Successful three week court trial representing general contractor against developer in construction of 3 story apartment complex in San Mateo in which contractor recovered 100% of contract balance, unpaid change orders and claims, interest and attorneys' fees.
  • Successful one week arbitration for general contractor against Red Lion Hotels involving Glendate Red Lion; contractor recovered 100% of its claims, interest and attorneys' fees.
